The new building consists of a single storey reinforced concrete frame with infill brick panels. The roof of the main building consists of steel trusses covered with roof sheeting. The entrance is accentuated by a steel lattice structure positioned perpendicular over the main building. The workshop section is also a single storey with a reinforced concrete roof, which supports the satellite dishes, as well as a lattice steel mast. The whole front portion of the building is cantilevering out over the retaining wall for a maximum of approximately 2.4 m adjacent to the workshop area.

The reinforced concrete roof supports the 3.0m and 4.8m satellite dishes, as well as the 9m high steel mast lattice structure.
